Fulltime - Salary (negotiable depending on experience)
We're looking for a detail-driven Construction estimator to join our growing team at TKL Contractors. This role is perfect for someone with strong industry knowledge, excellent analytical skills and the ability to confidently cost projects from concept to completion.
What You'll Do:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects
* Read and interpret plans, specifications and engineering drawings
* Be able to produce plans for customers using our software
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source pricing and negotiate rates
* Work closely with our managers and clients to provide clear, competitive quotations
* Monitor project budgets and variations as work progresses
What We're Looking For:
* Experience as an estimator in the construction industry (residential and/or commercial)
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and trade pricing
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* High attention to detail with strong analytical problem solving ability
