We are a growing Nelson engineering company that manufactures a range of components for the civil construction industry including grilles, covers and pipe work supplied all over New Zealand.
Due to continual growth we now need to add someone to our workshop team as a Senior Fabricator / Welder. The role is to be part of our friendly and busy team manufacturing our range of products. This is a full‐time position being offered, with normal hours being 7am - 4:30pm, 5 days a week.
The suitable applicant needs to have most or all of the following attributes:
* Experienced Welder Fabricator, with experience in alloy and SS would be an advantage.
* Experienced in two of more of the following Mig or Tig welding of Mild steel, Alloy and SS
* Qualification
* Be currently or recently working in Engineering field
* Be able to work on their own and with others
* Fast and excellent work ethics
* Be trustworthy, tidy and reliable
* Customer focus and safety conscious
* Have current NZ driving licence
* Have a good sense of humour and friendly manner.
Mainly based in our workshop with some site work.

This job would suit an experienced engineer seeking secure employment supplying the civil construction sector. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
