About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Community Clinician to join our Mental Health Team. As a Community Clinician, you will provide clinical and support services to consumers, as well as be responsible for diagnosing, caring for, providing evidence-based treatment, psycho-education, and consumer and family collaboration.
The successful candidate will have experience in working with mental health consumers, particularly in a community setting. They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* To assess consumers in a timely manner, using the National Mental Health Triage Scale and the Client Management Interface (CMI) database.
* To provide evidence-based treatment, including pharmacological and therapeutic interventions, within a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive framework.
* To work with consumers and carers in safety planning and promoting holistic treatment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* A registered nursing qualification, or an occupational therapy degree, or a psychology degree, or a social work degree.
* Experience in working in mental health services.
* Ability to work in a 7-day cycle roster, including afternoon shifts.
