McEvoy Mitchell Racing has an exciting job opportunity to support our Administration team in the role of Administration Officer.

**_ About you_**

We are looking for a team player with strong organisational skills - no two days are the same and there is plenty of scope to grow and learn in this role.

You will have:

- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage ongoing tasks
- The ability to maintain confidentiality across all areas of the organisation
- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service
- Great communication skills and the ability to work with a small, close-knit team
- Working knowledge of a computer is required, including proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience with Prism and Xero is desirable but on the job training will be provided.

**_Duties include_**
- Manage the registration and naming of yearlings, ownership transfers, syndicate registrations and lease paperwork.
- Manage and prepare colours and ID cards for race days and trials
- Assist with accounts payable, including entering invoices and oncharging bills
- Providing ad hoc administration support to the Trainers, Racing Manager and Sales/Marketing Team
- General data entry through Prism and Xero

There are also opportunities to assist on race days and jump out/trial mornings for applicants with relevant horse experience.

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant.
