As a Locum Registered Nurse with Cornerstone Medical Recruitment, you'll work in varied roles across Australia's mental health landscape, delivering high-quality patient care.
* Acute Mental Health: Manage urgent crises, stabilize patients, and coordinate with emergency services to ensure effective care delivery.
* Inpatient Units: Provide supportive care to individuals requiring more intensive support, manage daily assessments, administer medication, and foster collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
* Community Mental Health: Offer comprehensive case management, assessments, and care planning to empower clients and support their recovery journey.
Key Requirements:
* Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
* Experience: A minimum of 5 years in mental health nursing, particularly in case management, to develop expertise and confidence in this field.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with patients and team members, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
* Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of mutual respect and open communication.
* Transportation: A valid driver's license for regional and remote roles, facilitating travel and access to rural areas.
* Flexibility: Willingness to commit to travel nursing contracts in regional/remote areas for at least 12 weeks, showcasing adaptability and resilience.
