This is a highly technical role that requires a deep understanding of Oracle database technologies, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and a high level of due diligence to ensure the stability and availability of critical banking systems. Flexibility with working hours may be necessary to support essential database upgrades and migrations. Given the engagement with multiple stakeholders, effective communication and consulting skills are crucial. You'll be part of a dynamic team, working alongside top-tier professionals in a collaborative and innovative environment. What do I need? Architecture & Design: Deep understanding of Oracle database technology stack architecture, including infrastructure and storage. Database Security: Advanced knowledge of security best practices, encryption, auditing, and compliance requirements. Automation & DevOps: Expertise in scripting and tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform or similar. Performance Tuning: Proficiency in using tools like AWR, ADDM and Event Settings for diagnosing and optimising databases. Exadata: Experience in Exadata maintenance, patching and performance optimisation. Secondary Skills: Exposure to PostgreSQL, Cosmos or other NoSQL databases. Advanced SQL & PL/SQL, Python and Shell development skills would be highly advantageous. Engineering and holistic technology stack experience. OCP or OCM certification is highly desirable but not mandatory. Why join us?
