Role Overview
A ventilation professional is required to deliver production outcomes and support the expansion of an underground mine.
The focus will be on delivering safe and effective ventilation instructions, conducting vent surveys, air balancing, and fan management, as well as performing fault-finding and system monitoring.
The successful candidate will also ensure proper airflow across operational zones, support data collection activities, including radon monitoring, maintain an accurate VentSim model of the ventilation system, communicate progress to stakeholders, identify and manage ventilation risks with control measures, collaborate on value-adding projects, and manage change documentation.
Key skills and qualifications include commitment to safety leadership, experience in underground mining ventilation, proficiency in VentSim and ventilation surveys, knowledge of ventilation system maintenance, and experience with sub-level or block caving (preferred).
Additional requirements include Deswik.CAD experience (preferred) and strong teamwork and communication skills.
