Our Government client based in Newcastle is looking for a great Revenue Officer. Initial 3 month.
Key accountabilities of the role:
* Provide timely, consistent and effective frontline client service
* Undertake a range of administrative financial tasks to manage client accounts including receipting, refunds, reconciliation of accounts and account enquiries
* Review accounts and undertake revenue collection tasks to support the recovery of debt
* Comply with audit and policy guidelines, and internal procedures to ensure tasks are carried out in accordance with the Crown Lands business plan
* Review automated reports and maintain the integrity and accuracy of client and land account data
* Entry, maintenance and processing of data
* Provide information and reports to management as required.
Inherent requirements of the role
Essential Skills and Experience
* Customer service skills.
* Accounts processing skills - Attention to detail.
* Experience using Microsoft tools - Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint.
* Ability to follow procedures and work independently.
* Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
Preference: Relevant qualification or experience related to revenue collection and debt management.
