Your new role as Patient Accounts Manager
The Patient Accounts Team Leader will be responsible for the management of the Billing Hub team of Billers and Debtors, and all related functions including meeting KPI targets, management of Audit requests and producing monthly reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective management and co-ordination of functions relating to Patient Billings for all hospitals within the Hub
- Effective management and coordination of functions relating to Hospital Accounts Debt Collections for all hospitals within the Hub
- Manage billing audits for the hospitals within the Hub
- Banking, or effective management of, for all hospitals within the Hub
- Day to Day Staff Management of the Billers within the Hub
- Management / Review of Patient Account KPI indicators
- Information Management for the hospitals within the hub that relate to the Billings and Debt functions

About you
- Current Working with Children Check & Police Check
- Experience in hospital mainframe systems, e.g. Patient Management System
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role in a Hospital setting, with extensive experience and knowledge of billing health funds, health fund contracts and Eclipse billing
- Flexibility is a must - requirement to travel to nearby Hospitals
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and strong managerial skills
- Effective time management skills
- Demonstrated experience to meet (or exceed) expectations, taking responsibly for accurate and timely results within KPI’s
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable in an office environment
- Demonstrated experience working autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Competent level of computer skills including experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
