A busy and growing custom apparel and promotional products business based in Midland is seeking a reliable and experienced Production Assistant to join our production team full time.
This is a hands‐on role best suited to someone who thrives in a fast‐paced production environment and has previous experience operating embroidery machines and heat press equipment.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows initiative, and can be relied upon to consistently deliver high‐quality production outcomes.
About the Role
* Operating embroidery machines including SWF and/or Barudan
* Heat pressing garments and promotional products
* Preparing artwork and production files
* Machine setup, threading, backing and garment preparation
* Quality checking finished products
* Packing and dispatching orders
* Maintaining a clean and organised production areaAssisting with general production duties as required
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience operating embroidery machines (SWF and/or Barudan preferred)
* Experience with heat press application
* High attention to detail and quality control
* Strong reliability and punctuality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Experience with software such as Wilcom, Adobe Pro and/or CorelDRAW highly regarded
