We're seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to take the reins of this incredible beachfront accommodation venue.

We have a growing national portfolio of properties, including the Black Dolphin, a historic and significant motel and holiday park designed by renowned Australian architect Robin Boyd.
Following extensive investment and refurbishment, the Black Dolphin will soon be reopening as one of Australia's leading retro coastal retreats.
This is a full time, on-site role in Merimbula, with potential live-in accommodation for the right candidate.The RoleAs General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations, driving operational excellence, community engagement, and guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of daily park operationsBuild and maintain strong relationshipsIdentify and act on local events, tourism trends, and business development opportunities to drive occupancy and revenueLead the recruitment, training, and development of your teamMaximise revenue through yield management (with support of Revenue Manager), and control operating costs in line with the property budgetOversee front office administration, reservation systems, and customer service functionsRespond to after-hours calls and operational issues as requiredEnsure all facilities, amenities, and grounds are maintained to the highest standardsBe involved with planning and executing guest experiencesSkills & AttributesProven experience in hospitality (highly desirable)An energetic, "can-do" attitude with strong interpersonal and leadership skillsExcellent customer serviceStrong organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional presentation styleExperience with RMS9+ or Newbook booking systems (highly desirable)Employment Basis & RemunerationFull-time position with a competitive base salaryPerformance incentives based on achievement of KPIsRemuneration package tailored to the successful candidate's skills and experienceIf you're looking for your next role and want to be part of a brand-new property from day one, we'd love to hear from you.We take this opportunity to thank all those who will apply and advise we will only be contacting those who make the short list for the final interview.Location: Merimbula, Wollongong, Illawarra & South Coast NSWJob Type: Full Time
