About the Role
The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for supporting the Site Manager to ensure the effective and competent delivery of employment services at all times consistent with our funding requirements and Code of Conduct.
This position will be located at our Geraldton site and is being offered on a Full Time ongoing basis.

You'll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary package.
About You
To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate:
* Ability to support and mentor the Site team to deliver Employment Services;
* Experience meeting budgetary performance, Placement and Outcome targets and any other required targets;
* Ability to support a Site team to ensure the Employment Services are delivered with a strong customer service focus and in a compliant manner;
* Ability to engage, motivate and train staff to both hold them to account for their performance and behaviours;
* Ability to provide technical support to the Site team and fill in for staff as required;
* High level and operational pre-employment activity at site – including but not limited to, employer engagement, vacancy generation, internships and other work experience arrangements, facilitating job clubs and workshops to drive employment placements;
* Ability to work with a diverse range of clients in a culturally appropriate manner, and one that is understanding of disadvantage and disability;
* Willingness to work closely with the National Administration Centre to ensure outcomes and revenue are maximized and fall overs appropriately managed;
* Ability to act up in the position of Site Manager when the Site Manager is on leave or not available (including other Sites within the state).
* Data entry skills, typing speed of at least 30 words per minute and able to confidently use Outlook, Word and Excel; and
* Ability to read complex administrative procedures and reports.
You will also be required to:
* Hold a current unrestricted driver's license;
* Have a minimum Certificate IV in Community Services or Employment Services or in a related qualification;
* At least two years working in Employment Services or a related service industry;
* Understand the local labour market and needs of employers.
