Return To Work Case Manager - Workers Compensation is a role at DXC Technology. This position starts in January 2026 and involves providing needs‑based services to people with work‑related injuries, managing compensation claims, ensuring compliance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013, and liaising with workers, employers, and medical practitioners to facilitate return to work activities.


About The Role

As a Case Manager you will:

* Actively manage claims for compensation to deliver timely treatment and promote return to work.
* Ensure injured workers receive entitlements in accordance with legislation.
* Liaise with injured workers, their employers and treating practitioners to support medical management and return to work activities.

You will assist and support injured workers through person‑centred case management, ensuring entitlements to compensation are made appropriately and stakeholder relationships are maintained.


Training & Development

You will undergo 4 weeks of theoretical and practical training covering:

* The life cycle of a claim.
* Medical treatment types and appropriate management.
* Payment of medical expenses.
* Weekly compensation entitlements.
* Return to work obligations and early return facilitation.
* The legal side of workers’ compensation.
* Dealing with challenging conversations.

Further training during the first 12 months will expand knowledge of workplace injury management, return‑to‑work planning, dispute resolution, and workers’ compensation law.


Applicants Must Have

* Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
* The ability to plan and organise work with time‑frame management.
* Ability to work across multiple technology platforms.
* High organisational skill and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and interpersonal skills, including liaison with workers, employers, medical, paramedical and legal practitioners.
* Team‑work ability in an office‑based environment.
* Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
* Sensitivity to diverse medical, cultural and social needs.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
