We are currently seeking an experienced and talented
Superintendent Maintenance
to join our team and contribute to TLEA's exciting global vision on a permanent full-time basis.
The successful applicant reports to the Manager for Engineering and Maintenance and is responsible for leading the full maintenance execution team across mechanical, electrical/instrumentation and facilities maintenance disciplines.

Profile description:
* Work collaboratively with Senior Leadership, other Superintendents and Maintenance Supervisors to ensure maintenance execution activities are conducted safely and cost effectively.
* Ensure optimal management of the maintenance execution team through the effective and efficient application of policies and procedures, business systems, human and financial resources.
* Provide direction and support to maintenance execution staff.
* Develop and foster a culture of continuous improvement with the maintenance team.
* Assist with the development of the maintenance budget.
* Oversee all aspects of site maintenance execution activities.
* Attend and contribute to weekly work management planning and resource prioritisation.
* Provide input into maintenance reliability activities, strategies, inventory and additions, forecasting and technical support.
* Maintaion compliance to risk and safety standards, proactively leading a healthy safety culture within the team.
* Lead, coach and mentor direct teams to build a high performing team that is safety oriented.
What you can bring
* 5+ years' experience in a similar senior level role and organisation.
* A mechanical or electrical trade qualification, or relevant engineering qualification.
* Strong health and safety knowledge and experience.
* Demonstrated experience in managing multiple teams of trades and specialists in a fixed plant facility.
* Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement initiatives.
* Exposure to managing maintenance budgets, maintenance equipment management and repair strategies, and project planning.
* Working knowledge of the SAP PM module.
* Resilient and optimistic work outlook, able to dynamically change leadership styles as required to get the best out of the team.
