With a multi-billion-dollar annual operating budget and a significant asset base, the organisation is undertaking a major ERP modernisation program, transforming its SAP landscape to improve efficiency, integration, reporting capability, and long-term platform sustainability.

About the Role
Senior Test Analyst - SAP / ERP
Location: Brisbane | Contract Opportunity
Reporting to the Test Manager, the Senior Test Analyst will play a key role in coordinating and executing testing activities across the organisation's SAP ecosystem. This role focuses heavily on Payroll and ERP testing within a complex, multi-stream program environment.
You will contribute to ensuring that SAP solutions are robust, compliant, and aligned to business requirements through structured testing, detailed documentation, and close collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and system integrators.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop comprehensive test artefacts, including test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test summary reports
* Coordinate and manage testing activities across multiple workstreams within the ERP program
* Execute and oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) across SAP S/4HANA modules, including Payroll
* Derive test cases and test data from detailed business requirements and process documentation
* Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
* Monitor adherence to testing standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks
* Support test estimations, environment coordination, and milestone reporting
* Mentor SMEs and contribute to uplift of internal testing capability
* Liaise with project managers, ERP platform teams, system integrators, and business stakeholders
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing practice
About You
You are an experienced Senior Test Analyst with strong SAP expertise and a proven ability to operate effectively in large, complex environments.
You will demonstrate:
* 5+ years as a Senior Test Analyst
* Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation or major upgrade
* Strong knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA and/or SuccessFactors (Employee Central preferred)
* Proven experience supporting System Integration Testing with minimal supervision
* Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools (e.g. CALM)
* Experience working within structured SDLC and/or SAP Activate environments
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure program setting
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences
* Strong written communication skills, including executive reporting and documentation
* High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence, negotiate and build consensus
Desirable
* ISTQB Foundation Certification
* Experience in SAP S/4HANA system conversions (ECC to S/4HANA)
* Greenfield SAP implementation experience (Blueprint to Go-Live)
* Experience participating in fit-to-standard workshops and Agile delivery models
