Taylor Hopkinson are currently supporting a leading player in the renewable energy sector, committed to delivering sustainable energy solutions through solar and battery storage projects. As they expand their portfolio, they are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to drive the commercial success of their projects and play a key role in their growth strategy.
About the Role
As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of renewable energy projects, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), contract negotiations, financial modelling, and risk management. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project development, financing, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the negotiation and execution of PPAs with corporate and utility off-takers.
* Manage contract negotiations across project development, procurement, and construction phases.
* Develop and analyse financial models to support investment decisions and project viability.
* Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies across commercial agreements.
* Support project financing and due diligence processes.
* Engage with key stakeholders including investors, developers, utilities, and government bodies.
About You
* Fluent in English and Mandarin
* Proven experience in commercial management within the renewable energy, infrastructure, or power sectors.
* Strong knowledge of PPAs, contract negotiation, and financial structuring.
* Experience in project financing, risk management, and due diligence.
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
