You'll be responsible for preparing detailed, accurate, and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial projects.
Your ability to analyse blueprints, evaluate specifications, and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors will be critical.Key responsibilities will include:Preparing comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects.Conducting detailed takeoff, and analysing proposals and bids from subcontractors and suppliers.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, and vendors.Identifying and evaluating project risks and opportunities.Mentoring and guiding junior estimators.What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have:A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Demonstrative experience of at least 7-10 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator.Proven expertise with estimating softwareA strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.A willing attitude to lead and develop into an Estimating ManagerAt Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
