QCS is changing how we deliver these services and there has never been a better time to come to work with us.We are seeking early career and experienced Psychologists, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists who want to be part of these crucial centre-based teams. No two days will ever be the same; you will manage a challenging case load, be exposed to on the job learning like no other role, all while providing quality clinical services that includes assessments and tailored interventions that support mental health and wellbeing. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate and work effectively and sensitively with a diverse range of colleagues and individuals in custody.**As a member of this team, you will also:**
• Conduct independent risk assessments of harm to self or others, including acute or chronic risk
• Provide psychoeducation related to mental health conditions, symptoms and treatment options to individuals
• Deliver individual or group-based skill acquisition focused interventions aimed at developing coping skills and building resilience
