Overview
Job Summary: Responsible for driving growth of Quectel i.MX SOM business across North America.
Position reports to Director of Sales and will work in tandem with North American Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representative network.
Candidate will maximize growth through dedicated focus on attacking competitor accounts, hunting and growing existing accounts.
Fast paced position that will require focus and analytical approach to sales.
Prior experience with NXP i.MX SoC or SOM is required.
Location adaptable.
Responsibilities
SOM Competitor Account Outreach: Investigate publicly available information on prospective customers that currently use competitors' modules (competitor accounts) and actively grow sales funnel with the assistance of sales and marketing colleagues and industry ecosystem partners.
Qualify and reach out to leads to set roadmap meetings, introduce Quectel's portfolio, and organize next steps which include sending an evaluation kit and a price quote.
Maintain sales funnel of prospective customers and ensure they move through the sales process of Customer Acquisition, Technical Evaluation, and Design Win.
SOM Support Of NA Team
Work cross-functionally with management, sales, product management and R&D; to support customer requirements and new market verticals.
Assist in managing key SOM partners within North America.
Acts as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territory.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in engineering preferred but not required.
Existing Sales experience with i.MX SoC or SOM is a must.
Dynamic, self motivated, hard working professional who thrives in a very fast paced environment.
Must have sense of urgency in all aspects of daily job.
Strong oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Salesforce, Sales Funnels, Sales Cycle understanding a plus.
