The Risk Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in implementing risk management frameworks and ensuring alignment with legislative requirements, corporate planning, and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead the implementation of risk management frameworks to ensure organisational governance excellence and accountability.
* Oversee internal audit workplans, complaints management, gifts and benefits registers, and risk health checks.
* Develop strategies to address high-risk matters, providing advice and training to staff.
* Provide coaching and guidance to managers to embed governance excellence and accountability across the organisation.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor degree in Commerce, Law, Business, Risk Management, Governance or related discipline.
* Minimum five years' experience in governance, compliance, risk, fraud or complaints management.
* Minimum five years' leadership experience.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation and policies in complex compliance roles.
* Strong judgement and decision-making skills, with experience working in sensitive environments.
