Sinch is seeking a motivated tax professional to support tax compliance and reporting, reporting to the Senior Tax Manager – APAC. The role is a part-time (3 days per week) 12-month fixed term contract role, ideally commencing end of January 2026.
As an enthusiastic finance team member, your role will support the tax compliance and reporting obligations for legal entities in Australia and APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation and lodgement of income tax returns, including transfer pricing filings.
* Prepare VAT/GST filings, FBT and Withholding Tax obligations within the region to ensure timely and accurate lodgements.
* Prepare local quarterly tax effect accounting, reconciliations and reporting to Group according to requisite deadlines.
* Prepare transfer pricing calculations within the region in partnership with Group Transfer Pricing and local FinOps APAC team.
* Provide ad hoc support across finance projects and tax reviews/audits as needed.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
* Proven corporate tax experience in an MNE and/or mid-tier to Big 4 firm
* Extensive experience with Australian tax compliance; experience with NZ, Philippines, or the UK a bonus
* Confident with tax effect accounting
* Exposure to transfer pricing
* Able to work independently, organise and prioritise competing demands
* Strong attention to detail
* CA or CPA qualification desired
