Leveraging cutting-edge technology and a commitment to innovation, IAA’s unique multichannel platform processes over 2.5 million vehicles annually, serving a global buyer base across 170+ countries.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Auto Auction Coordinator works within our Remarketing team and is responsible for the day-to-day processing, preparation, and management of vehicles and other assets for sale through IAA's remarketing channels. Reporting to the Remarketing Team Leader, this role focuses on delivering operational efficiency, ensuring assets are presented to the highest standards, and supporting the team in meeting key performance targets.The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to resolving challenges. As part of the remarketing team, the Remarketing Executive will collaborate with operations, transport, and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless asset preparation and auction delivery.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAsset Management:Process and prepare vehicles and assets for sale, ensuring they meet IAA’s quality standards and timelines.Accurately enter and update asset information in IAA’s internal systems.Monitor the status of allocated stock and follow up on any delays to ensure readiness for sale.Deliver customer service via phone and emails supporting timely call queue responses.Assist in resolving vehicle issues such as encumbrances, WOVR status, and outstanding paperwork.Support initiatives to drive buyer participation growth locally & internationally.Deliver performance outcomes against SLA’s and KPIs, such as registration cancellations & refund timely processing.Operational Support:Support the team in meeting KPIs, such as reducing days to sale and maximizing asset return.Collaborate with the operations and transport teams to coordinate vehicle movements, inspections, and auction readiness.Identify and escalate issues impacting asset processing to the Remarketing Team Leader.Participate in implementing operational improvements to enhance team efficiency.Customer Support:Provide accurate and timely support to sellers and buyers regarding asset status, auction processes, and post-sale actions.Assist in addressing customer queries and resolving auction-related issues, escalating where necessary.Ensure customer processes (e.g., Personal Effects Process) are followed within agreed SLAs.Reporting & Systems:Maintain accurate records in IAA’s internal systems to reflect asset status and team activities.Support the preparation of performance data and reports as needed by the Remarketing Team Leader.Ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements.WHAT YOU'LL BRINGPrevious experience in an administrative, operations, or customer service role (experience in remarketing, auctions, or automotive industries is a plus).Proficiency in data entry and experience working with operational systems or CRMs.Basic understanding of asset management or auction processes (preferred but not required).Strong organisational and time-management skills with a focus on attention to detail.Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to prioritise tasks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and customer interactions.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.A collaborative team player who thrives in achieving shared goals.Willingness to learn new processes, tools, and systems.Flexibility and adaptability to support the scaling of operations in a startup environment.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary +annual bonusPrivate health insurance for you and your familyOther Insurances such as;Income Protection, Life Insurance and TPDEmployee Share Purchase PlanGym membership reimbursement*Opportunities to work with a global leader in the automotive auction industry
