Project Overview
Genus Infrastructure (NSW) has been awarded the HumeLink East project as part of a $1.4 billion joint venture with Acciona. The project involves constructing 237 km of 500 kV transmission lines between Bannaby and Wondalga in NSW, along with upgrades to the Bannaby substation. It forms the eastern section of the broader HumeLink initiative.
HumeLink East will significantly enhance grid capacity, support Snowy 2.0, and enable greater integration of renewable energy across NSW—playing a key role in Australia's clean energy transition.
Construction commenced in early 2025, with completion targeted for 2026-2027. The project will generate approximately 1,600 jobs and includes $2 million in community investment, with strong commitments to environmental management and stakeholder engagement.
Role Overview
As the Site Coordinator based in Yass, you will support the day‐to‐day operations of the piling and civil works team on the HumeLink East Transmission Line Project. This role is essential to ensuring smooth site coordination, accurate documentation, and effective communication between construction crews, subcontractors, and project leadership.
You will act as the central point of contact for site logistics, workforce coordination, compliance records, and operational support—contributing directly to the safe and efficient delivery of piling and civil construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily site activities and provide operational support to the piling and civil construction teams.
* Manage documentation, permits, timesheets, and compliance records.
* Oversee site logistics, including deliveries, plant movements, and access requirements.
* Organise travel and accommodation arrangements for site personnel where required.
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
* Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting, scheduling, and work pack preparation.
* Support WHS processes, ensuring documentation and site practices align with project requirements.
About You
* Previous experience in site coordination, site administration, or project support within construction, civil infrastructure, or a related industry.
* Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast‐paced site environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
* Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
* Knowledge of WHS, environmental, and compliance processes is highly regarded.
