Job Overview
The ED Office Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Emergency Care Centre.
This key position is responsible for overseeing hospital administration processes, from pre-admissions to discharge, including informed financial consents and patient accounts.
As the ED Office Manager, you will be expected to manage enquiries and complaint resolution, as well as KPI labour hours within budget parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee hospital administration processes, including pre-admissions to discharge, informed financial consents, and patient accounts.
* Manage enquiries and complaint resolution.
* Manage KPI labour hours within budget parameters.
* Roster, staffing and supervision of staff in the Emergency Care Centre.
* Maintaining an efficient and effective work process and system for all areas of administration within the Emergency Care Centre.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of patient management systems (Webpas) and Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience in managing and leading a large team.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills as well as an ability to multi-task.
* Professional and pleasant demeanour.
* Ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of people both internal and external.
* Willingness and ability to learn and complete new tasks and the flexibility to embrace change.
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within the scope of the role.
