You will work with a successful and experienced leadership team within a high performing and collaborative culture and ensure that sustainability is at the core of all their developments.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Urban Designer to join the team permanently.
**Your new role**
- Assist in the development of planning documentation
- Contribute to project team and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the project objectives
- Advise project managers and the GM on relevant urban design matters
- Prepare and contribute to the development of design solutions for project urban design outcomes including product design and streetscapes
- Assist in the development of strategies, guidelines policies and initiatives to support the delivery of high-quality urban outcomes
- Other duties as directed.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this position, you will be a creative and talented Urban Designer with diverse project experience.
- Innovative, creative design thinking and delivery
- Tertiary qualification in urban design or related discipline
- Proficient with variety of design drafting software through professional experience
- Confident communication style to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Sound understanding of design documentation
- Demonstrated ability to understand and logically navigate approval processes and build effective relations with authorities.
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team to meet deadlines is essential.
