AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY | PERTH (6009), WA Location: Perth, WA 6009 The Nanny Connection The Family: A warm, fun-loving family based in Perth is seeking a reliable and engaging nanny to support their two energetic boys (ages 6 and 9). Their home is full of laughter, silliness, and personality, balanced with consistent routines. They value creating a respectful, supportive, and comfortable environment for their nanny. The family also has a very friendly Golden Doodle who is a much-loved part of the home (no care required). Days, Hours, Start Date & Remuneration Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (approx. 20 hours per week) Start Date: Flexible, ideally around 20 April 2026 Pay: $35–$45 per hour (depending on experience) Weekly petrol allowance provided Guaranteed hours: Full shift paid even if you finish early The Role: This is a structured after-school position combining household support and active childcare. Your responsibilities will include: Household Support (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM) Light meal prep (children’s lunches/snacks for the following day) Light laundry for the children General tidying (toys, breakfast dishes, kitchen surfaces), if time permits School Pick-Up & Afternoon Care (From 3:00 PM) Walking 5 minutes to school pick-up Transporting the children to after-school activities (if required) Supporting homework and school routines Engagement & Care Managing high-energy play (sports, outdoor activities, rough-and-tumble play) Encouraging downtime and balanced routines Preparing the boys for the following school day The Ideal Nanny: The family is seeking a nanny who is confident, warm, and experienced with school-aged children—particularly active boys. You will be: Firm but kind in your approach Comfortable managing high-energy play and big personalities Naturally engaging, playful, and patient Reliable and consistent, with excellent time management This role is best suited to someone seeking a long-term position (1–2 year commitment) to provide stability and continuity for the children.
