Business Development Lead

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales and revenue growth in strategic accounts.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of delivering results in the telecommunications industry.

This role involves developing and implementing account strategies, building and managing high-performing sales teams, and providing coaching and guidance to ensure maximum profitability and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and maintaining account plans, financial forecasts, and sales targets.
* Formulating strategies to grow business and relationships within large accounts.
* Building a high-performance team by hiring, retaining, setting goals, delegating work, holding reports accountable, developing and empowering direct reports.
* Demonstrating company values, maintaining a positive open demeanor, encouraging different points of view, moving the team forward through change, providing timely information, communicating context for business decisions, recognizing accomplishments and fostering teamwork and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience required.
* 8 years of relevant job experience with similar essential duties.
* Strategic planning, account management and contract negotiations skills required.
* Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities and ability to prioritize with good time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Demonstrated sales management experience (at least 5-6 years) in telco/enterprise sales and sales leadership experience.
* A track record for consistently exceeding revenue goals.
* Success leading and managing sales teams.
* Proven ability to hire, manage, mentor and motivate successful solution-oriented sales teams.
* Strong record in developing and assigning geographic territories and customer/prospect modules.
* Business/financial background is helpful.
* Experience in consultative sales techniques and account planning.
