Job Description
The Australian Government has committed significant funding for the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program (BHTSP), aiming to reduce crash severity and frequency. This initiative focuses on wide centre line treatments, audio tactile line marking, intersection upgrades, rest areas, pavement strengthening, overtaking lanes, and narrow structure upgrades.
The project aims to complete these improvements by 2030 while building upon previous investments under the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP). Project prioritization will be guided by the Bruce Highway Advisory Council in conjunction with both levels of government.
