- Based in Perth as the property manager, you will work closely with the property and development team members across a variety of stores across Australia. The portfolio is leasehold and freehold-focused, so your understanding of retail, or commercial leasing is essential.
- With a solid understanding of reporting, you will accurately interpret property lease documentation and provide support and information where required to ensure commercially accurate decision-making. The role is busy, yet rewarding; therefore you'll have experience in a high-volume role with sound problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with great communication skills.**The core functions of the position involve;**
- Assist with new and existing lease arrangements, including obligations to laws and regulations.
- Undertake due diligence for lease and acquisition activities including business case submissions.
- Identify and establish landlord/tenant responsibility and cost for repairs and maintenance.
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders in ensuring that property-related issues are addressed and actioned in a timely manner.
- Monitor and liaise with concerned parties any notices of proposed redevelopment work that can potentially affect the business.
- Assist Store Managers and Facilities Managers in ensuring that works are carried out and make property inspections from time to time.
- Make recommendations for more efficient and cost-effective processes.
**Core experience you will have.**
Ideally having tertiary qualifications in real estate, finance, or project management. A minimum of two years experience in commercial or retail property management with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.**What makes you unique?**
