We’re establishing a new Business Centre in Perth and are looking for a highly analytical Assistant Relationship Manager to help shape and assess high ‑ quality business lending outcomes across a diversified Western Australian portfolio. This role is suited to someone who enjoys deep financial analysis, credit writing and risk assessment, and who wants to apply those skills in a commercial banking environment. If you’ve built your foundation in credit, insolvency, restructuring or financial analysis and are looking to broaden into relationship banking over time, this role offers strong exposure and development. You’ll work closely with Relationship Managers to evaluate transactions from end to end — analysing financial performance, cash flow sustainability and risk drivers, and preparing clear, well ‑ structured credit submissions that support sound lending decisions. What you’ll be doing Preparing and writing high ‑ quality credit submissions across a diversified industries portfolio Analysing financial statements, cash flow and balance sheet strength to assess credit risk Supporting transaction structuring with a strong focus on risk, controls and policy alignment Identifying key risk considerations and sensitivities within complex lending scenarios Partnering with Relationship Managers to support informed, balanced customer outcomes Building your understanding of customers and industries while maintaining strong credit discipline This is a hands ‑ on analytical role with increasing commercial exposure — ideal for someone who wants their credit capability to be both valued and visible. What do I need? Strong financial analysis capability, including cash flow, financial statements and lending structures Proven experience or exposure to credit writing, credit analysis or risk assessment Backgrounds in insolvency, restructuring, accounting, finance or credit are highly regarded Confidence forming a point of view based on data and financial insight Clear, concise written communication — particularly in credit submissions A collaborative mindset and interest in developing into a future relationship banking role Why join us?
