Your Role
As a General Practitioner at DAHS, you will:
* Provide high-quality clinical care across town and remote clinics.
* Support and mentor Aboriginal Health Workers, trainees, and medical students.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality and impact of our health services.
* Play a key role in shaping health initiatives that meet the unique needs of our community.
Who We're Looking For
We want a GP who is passionate, adaptable, and culturally sensitive. Ideally, you have:
* FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Understanding of the health challenges faced by Aboriginal communities in rural and remote areas.
* Proficiency with the Medicare Benefits Schedule and commitment to quality and risk management.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Current AHPRA registration and relevant clearances.
* A genuine commitment to cultural safety and the philosophy of Aboriginal Community Control.
Salary & Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $284,625 FTE plus a comprehensive benefits package including:
* Fully furnished rent-free accommodation with utilities covered.
* Fully maintained vehicle for work and personal use.
* Annual airfare Derby–Perth–Derby return after 12 months of continuous employment valued at $1,683.
* Relocation reimbursement up to $5,000.
* Mobile phone allowance of $100 a month.
* 6 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading plus extra leave over Christmas/New Year.
* Salary packaging up to $30,000.
