The agency collaborates closely with communities, service providers, and government stakeholders to implement initiatives that enhance social inclusion, wellbeing, and equity.
About the role:
seeking motivated and capable professionals to join specialised frontline services support teams within a dynamic project and program environment. This role supports the delivery of strategic initiatives, projects, and change activities that directly enable frontline service delivery.
Successful candidates will contribute to planning, coordination, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and communication activities across moderately complex programs of work. The role requires sound judgement, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project, program, and operational outcomes through the following key focus areas:
Stakeholder Engagement
* Engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders to share information, clarify requirements, and support project outcomes
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to progress policy, project, and operational tasks
* Support stakeholders through change by providing guidance, information, and practical assistance
* Build and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients
Data Analysis and Insights
* Interpret complex data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations
* Conduct research and analysis to support program activities and project milestones
* Prepare reports and deliver data in clear, accessible formats to support informed decision-making
* Maintain databases and perform data quality assurance
* Identify issues, analyse trends, and propose solutions to improve work practices
Change Management
* Contribute to change management strategies, plans, and initiatives, including training, communications, and workshops
* Coordinate competing priorities and manage workflow in environments undergoing change
* Apply change initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of services
* Conduct objective research and analysis to support evidence-based change decisions
* Identify capability gaps and training needs to support colleagues adapting to new ways of working
* Assist with audits and support risk management activities, adapting controls as required
Project Support
* Assist with project coordination and broader project management activities
* Manage moderately complex projects under the guidance of senior staff
* Support the implementation of agency-administered programs
* Contribute to project and program risk assessment and risk management activities
* Assist with the development and delivery of training programs
* Provide technical advice and input on specific project components
Communication
* Develop, review, and maintain communication materials
* Coordinate inputs, gather information, and ensure consistent messaging
* Monitor and track the effectiveness of communication products
* Support the implementation of communication frameworks, protocols, templates, and standards
* Provide advice and technical support to stakeholders on communication products
* Translate complex information into clear, accessible content
* Support structured communication during reforms, programs, and change initiatives
SharePoint Creation and Management
* Prepare and review communication materials published on SharePoint, including reports, newsletters, and briefings
* Support governance frameworks, version control, and compliance processes using SharePoint
* Ensure accurate storage, organisation, and accessibility of documents
* Create and maintain SharePoint resource hubs for programs and initiatives
* Support access reviews and membership management
* Assist in improving SharePoint workflows for communication, document management, and information sharing
The ideal Candidate will demonstrate:
* Well-developed communication and analytical skills
* The ability to exercise sound judgement and manage competing priorities
* Experience supporting project and program delivery
* Confidence working with stakeholders across diverse roles and functions
* A collaborative, proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
Benefits:
* ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
* Assignment end date: 31st December 2026 with potential extension
* Location: Multiple locations across NSW and ACT
* $55.24 hourly + Super
