The Role
The ABC is looking for a Production Assistant for Good Game Spawn Squad to provide organisational and administrative support to the Production Manager and Series Producer.
This 6‐month contract will see you assist in the day‐to‐day running of the program production unit, maintaining and coordinating schedules, diaries, databases, booking sheet and release forms.
You'll maintain office supplies and systems and assist the team with general office requirements, as well as provide support to the coordinator with day‐to‐day duties. As first general point of contact for calls from the public and production areas, you'll correspond with our audience and handle enquiries and feedback.
You'll assist with rehearsal, studio prep and game play testing, developing and maintaining effective relationships with other program departments and resource/service providers.

About You
You bring relevant media experience, along with an understanding of television production processes, techniques and terminology. You're organised and confident managing administrative tasks such as schedules, correspondence, audience requests and general coordination. You're comfortable handling travel arrangements, supporting rostering, and assisting with crew and facility bookings.
You have working knowledge of tools such as Premiere Pro, Adobe and Microsoft Office, and can confidently apply these in a production environment. A keen interest in video games and gaming culture would be highly regarded, helping you connect with the program's audience and content.
You'll also hold (or be willing to obtain and maintain) a current Working with Children Check and/or police clearance.
