Facilities Contract Specialist
Lead the implementation of an outsourced facilities management model, overseeing contract delivery and performance.
* Evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and service level agreements.
* Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and resolve operational issues.
* Develop and maintain relationships with prime service delivery contractors and vendors.
* Control account management for planned and corrective maintenance on facilities, ensuring operational excellence.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential threats.
* Analyze contract costs to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for facility vendors, resolving issues and conducting performance reviews.
Requirements:
* Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain a defence security clearance.
* Intermediate MS Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
* Proven experience in contract management within facilities or operations management.
* Experience working in large-scale or multi-site facility operations.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaison with vendors, internal teams, and executives.
* Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
* Knowledge of procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
* Understanding of compliance standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
