Hervey Bay Special School is seeking a passionate and flexible Special Education Teacher to support students from Prep to Year 10. This role requires someone who is adaptable, patient, creative in their approach to learning, and confident in building strong relationships with students, colleagues, families, and external service providers. Essential skills include effective teamwork, a solid understanding of the Australian Curriculum, and excellent communication. While not mandatory, experience working with students with disabilities and knowledge of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) would be highly regarded.

* Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. * Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
