Job Description
The Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of all aspects of our programs. This includes engaging with craft artists and designers to provide a broader context for the community.
We are a not-for-profit organisation that celebrates and cultivates our artists (craftspeople + designers) and our community. We advocate for contemporary craft and design practice in the Canberra region and connect artists, community, partners and places.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of art and craft public programs, events and public art
* Organise, manage and prioritise a high-volume workload, including multitasking, self-direction, initiative, and flexibility
* Develop excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to establish positive working relationships with staff, board, members, artists, sponsors, internal and external stakeholders
* Motivate staff and work as a productive contributor in a small team
* Prepare marketing copy, reports, presentations, grant applications, budgets and acquittals
* Use digital literacy and graphic design skills to create engaging content using imaging, video and editing software
* Work in a flexible arts-related environment, adapting to changing and challenging circumstances
Requirements
* High level experience managing all aspects of art and craft public programs, events and public art
* Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Strong organisational, project management and budgeting skills
* Excellent oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* High level written communication skills
* Digital literacy and graphic design skills
