Job Description
We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our team as a Rostering & Staffing Specialist. This role will involve providing high-level support to the General Manager and contributing to the success of our care home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage rosters, allocate shifts, and handle staff requests in a timely and efficient manner.
* Collaborate with the corporate team to ensure accurate rostering system data and enable forecasting.
* Communicate effectively with staff on-site regarding roster changes, allocations, and available shifts.
* Provide training and support for staff members on timekeeping systems and troubleshooting.
* Maintain confidentiality of rostering information and adhere to data protection protocols.
* Ensure a smooth induction process for new staff, including site tours and access to necessary systems.
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing processes, engagement, experience, and systems across the organization.
Requirements:
* Proven expertise in advanced administration and office management tasks, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and email platforms, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
* Extensive experience in rostering is highly desirable, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
