1. Perform veterinary pathology duties, including conducting autopsies and examining tissue samples.
2. Develop and implement diagnostic tests to identify diseases in animals.
3. Collaborate with veterinarians and other professionals to provide comprehensive care to animals.
Essential requirements:
A degree in veterinary science or equivalent as provided by a university and registrable in Tasmania under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1987.
Desirable requirements:
Membership qualifications in pathobiology with the ANZCVSc (Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists) and/or board certification (American College of Veterinary Pathologists).
