The Wave is a mega-project, with $5.5 billion committed towards delivery of heavy passenger rail to Caloundra that will help shape the region and unlock new housing and economic opportunities. The project is now in the pre-delivery phase, with procurement underway and construction activities expected to commence late 2026, subject to approvals. In March 2025, the Queensland Government committed to delivery of The Wave Stage 2, which includes rail from Caloundra to Birtinya.

The Opportunity
The Project Advisor plays a key coordination and support role in contributing to the successful delivery of The Wave (Rail) project by enabling strong alignment across leadership, project, and package teams. This role ensures that planning, reporting, governance, and stakeholder coordination activities are effectively managed to support informed decision making and optimise overall program performance across a complex infrastructure environment.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support delivery activities across all stages of the program, facilitate clear communication between key internal stakeholder groups, and provide high quality reporting and secretariat support. Success in this role means ensuring project information is accurate and timely, meetings and governance forums are well coordinated and productive, and administrative and project processes are efficient, consistent, and aligned to support the seamless delivery of The Wave (Rail) project.
