Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland (MMCNQ) provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East.
About the position
Applications are now open for a Kindergarten Teacher located at Ryan Kindergarten, Kirwan. This position will deliver our approved Kindy program to the youngest members of the Kirwan community. We are seeking a passionate and creative Kindergarten Teacher to join our team on a five‐day‐fortnight schedule, working Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesdays. This permanent position requires hours from 8:00am to 3:00pm each day, with commencement as soon as practical.

What you'll need to succeed
* ACECQA approved qualifications in Teaching/Early Childhood Education or near completion
* Current Queensland College of Teachers registration (if applicable)
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
* Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check
* Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
* Ability to learn new systems and child‐care management software
