Job description
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Human Resource Advisor to support our labour hire operations. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, maintain workforce compliance, and provide practical guidance on employment conditions and workplace relations. The role involves close collaboration with clients to ensure staffing requirements are met promptly and workers remain aligned with award, contract, and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate recruitment activities, including job advertising, screening, interviewing, and placement of workers to meet client demands.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, awards, and labour hire contractual obligations.
Provide HR and workplace relations advice to clients and internal stakeholders, including performance management and disciplinary processes.
Deliver onboarding and inductions, ensuring employees understand pay conditions, terms of employment, and role expectations.
Act as a key contact between employees and clients, supporting clear communication around vacancies, employment conditions, and compliance matters.
Support discussions and negotiations relating to terms and conditions, and assist in resolving disputes, grievances, or workplace concerns.
Review, interpret, and apply relevant laws, industrial instruments, and employment contracts specific to labour hire arrangements.
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Sociology, or a related discipline (preferred).
Understanding of (or willingness to learn) compliance requirements, awards, and legislation relevant to labour hire.
Strong capability in negotiation and dispute resolution, particularly in a contract workforce environment.
Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both clients and employees.
Comfortable using HR systems and workforce tools (or willing to learn), including Xero, Jotform, and Connecteam
