In this role, you will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement. We are all about personalised and people-focused support, teaming up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential.
Roster 1: Overnight sleep shifts, 7 shifts including 2 weekend shifts. Roster 2: Day shifts - 55.25 hrs includes one weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Please review the rosters to ensure you can commit to every shift before applying.
Key Duties Include
- Delivering a wide range of domestic supports within customer residence
- Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals
- Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed
- Administration duties, expense and mandatory reports
What you’ll need?
- Experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans
- Experience working with behaviour plans
- Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration
- Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience
- Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity
- Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or higher is essential
- Willingness to use your fully insured and registered, private vehicle (aligned with Activ’s motor vehicle allowance rebate)
