Your Role as a Cabinet Maker Your responsibilities in the role will encompass: Reading drawings and cutting lists Producing high quality joinery according to demands Cutting, assembling and setting up of cabinets Setting up and maintaining machinery and hand tools Installation of hardware Use of workshop machinery such as the edgebander and panel saw Liaise with Production Manager to ensure the accurate manufacturing of joinery Working with a variety of materials including veneer, laminates, solid timber etc Strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols and guidelines. Qualifications for Success The ideal candidate will possess: A trade qualification in Cabinet Making with a minimum five years factory / manufacturing experience. Have the ability to follow instructions and read detailed plans. Be reliable and punctual Have own tools and transport. Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
