Full Time | Veteran Health | $80,000 - $85,000 + Super

This position offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients, work holistically, and be part of a team that values connection, collaboration and sustainable workloads.
The Role
This full-time position offers a varied and balanced weekly schedule across several Sunshine Coast locations, with paid travel time for outreach work:
* Maroochydore: 2 days per week (Primary Clinic)
* Gympie: 1-2 days per week
* Other outreach sites: 1-2 days per week (Caloundra, Beerwah)
Outreach typically 10-30 minutes | Travel time paid
You'll be based in well-established clinics alongside Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians, Podiatrists, and other allied health professionals, with smaller outreach sites supported by Physios and EPs.
What You'll Be Doing
* Building strong, trusted relationships with Veteran clients
* Providing counselling and psychosocial support
* Coordinating care and supporting Veterans to navigate complex health systems
* Delivering DVA advocacy and practical support
* Conducting appointments both in-person and via telehealth
* Facilitating walking groups, coffee catch-ups, and social connection programs
About You
* Qualified Social Worker - AASW registered
* New graduates are welcome, with structured support and supervision provided
* Confident communicator with a warm, client-centred approach
* Able to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
* Comfortable working across clinic, outreach, and telehealth settings
* Genuine interest in Veteran health, community engagement, and holistic care
