Job Title: Digital Governance Leader
Job Description:
The University of Newcastle seeks a visionary and experienced Digital Governance Leader to lead the digital governance agenda and uplift risk, assurance, and data stewardship across a complex institution. As a senior leader, you'll design and embed governance frameworks that keep platforms, services, and information resilient, compliant, and enabling of research, education, and engagement.
• Proven experience in delivering and maintaining major GRC frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST CSF, COBIT, ACSC E8)
• Strong knowledge of contemporary IT trends, services, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms
• Ability to define and optimize processes using ITIL and leading governance and quality assurance oversight for complex digital/cybersecurity initiatives
• Experience leading executive committees and communicating governance frameworks to senior leaders
