Responsibilities
- advising the CCB on matters pertaining to CM and projects/SMs of CM transition requirements
- administrative support, including scheduling and preparing agenda/minutes
- registering and administering submitted ECPs and manage implementation of approved changes in association with SMs
- continued amendment of active CM documents (and CMP)
- oversight/monitor application of CM grading
- managing CSA procedures
- provide CM advice on and review CI selection
- manage the SPO technical integrity register
- manage security of all CM and CSA data (CM tools use access permissions)
- assist with the raising of ECPs
- receive and register ECPs, determine Class and either conduct JOS or assist
- update ECP register as ECPs change status
- close ECPs
- audit SPO technical register
Experience/Skills Sought
- Perform complex technical configuration activities and associated tasks working to agreed priorities and outcome.
- Accountable for exercising assigned technical authorities and any Technical Regulatory Authority delegations.
- Demonstrate and apply knowledge and experience to develop and review technical packages.
- Apply technical knowledge and experience to identify risks and uncertainties and take these into account in planning, decision making and priority setting.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, actively participate in team work and motivate and mentor developing technicians.
- Tailor communication style and language to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess technical packages including scoping, planning and reviewing of packages and provide recommendations for consideration.
- Assess technical packages, reports, processes and product and equipment performance to meet specified requirements, provide recommendations for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure safety aspects of Defence capability are considered and incorporated into technical configuration activities and tasks.
- Manage technical knowledge of relevant processes, packages, product and equipment.
Essential qualification and experience requirement
- At least 3 years experience in Configuration Management
- Experience in Auditing
- Experience in conducting CCBs
- Experience with both CMT-L (trained) and Objective
- Lead Auditor training
- Objective preferably Work Group Coordinator
