About the role
Have you got outstanding customer‐orientation and excellent communication skills? Is technical sales your expertise and passion? Then apply at Hager Group! As a Merchandiser you will report to the Queensland State Sales Manager in the sales organization based in Queensland for a permanent contract.
Your mission
* Arrange stock in the Wholesale branches to attract maximum attention and visual appeal
* Ensure the wholesalers are kept up to date on product releases and catalogues
* Gain feedback from representatives and wholesalers to improve merchandising strategies and participate in product promotions
* Promote the profitable marketing of company products and services, developing customer relationships through selling skills
* Answer product/electrical queries to the best of knowledge; if in doubt, refer to local Technical Sales Representative
* Ascertain competitor activity and other relevant information and report it to management
* Ensure all customers and users receive effective product knowledge training
* Prepare regular reports on business calls and related activities including complaints and questions regarding products and sales trends
Your profile
* First experiences in the sales environment and with wholesalers
* Ability to motivate the team and develop a feeling of ownership of the company projects
* Willingness to learn regularly to keep your technical knowledge up to date
* Organization skills and resource management
* Strong communication skills and ability to influence people to act in the group's interest
* Customer‐orientation and understanding of their perspective
* Adaptability, creativity and innovation to develop imaginative solutions in business situations
* Attention to detail
