The opportunity
As Senior IT Business Partner, Science & Engineering, you will build trusted partnerships with senior faculty stakeholders and help connect their priorities with ICT capability, services and delivery.
This is a strategic partnering role where you will move beyond order-taking to early engagement, practical advice and clear prioritisation across a large, diverse and complex faculty environment.
What you'll do
* Build trusted relationships with faculty leaders across Science and Engineering.
* Engage early with stakeholders to understand priorities, demand and technology needs.
* Navigate competing priorities across schools and support practical pathways forward.
* Provide strategic advice on ICT services, projects, planning and delivery expectations.
* Mentor and guide a team member supporting more operational ICT partnering activity.
What we're looking for
* Strong ICT business partnering experience in a complex stakeholder environment.
* Confident relationship, negotiation and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
* Ability to translate business needs into clear ICT priorities, requirements and solutions.
* Pragmatic judgement, resilience and comfort managing competing priorities.
* Higher education, research, science or engineering environment experience is highly regarded.
