Saltair Modular is an award‑winning Queensland builder specialising in high‑quality modular residential and commercial construction. With manufacturing facilities in Coolum Beach and Brisbane producing up to 1,800 modules annually, we're growing fast and delivering projects that are safe, efficient and to the highest quality standard.
We're now seeking an experienced Residential Project Manager to join our Commercial and Production team and take ownership of end‑to‑end project delivery.
About the Project Manager Role
As Residential Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning, execution and delivery of modular construction projects from initiation through to handover. Working closely with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to Saltair's high quality standards. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this role suits a hands‑on, solutions‑focused project professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage and deliver modular construction projects end‑to‑end
* Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets and resource plans
* Lead project meetings and coordinate internal and external stakeholders
* Manage procurement schedules and subcontractor performance
* Monitor costs, approve project expenditure within delegation and control budgets
* Identify and mitigate project risks, maintaining up‑to‑date risk registers
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards
* Maintain accurate digital project records and reporting
* Drive continuous improvement and apply lessons learned across projects
About You
You're an organised and commercially minded Project Manager who enjoys ownership and accountability. You bring strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing sight of safety, quality or client outcomes.
Qualifications
* 3–5+ years' experience in a Project Manager or equivalent role
* Proven experience delivering construction projects on time and within budget
* Strong knowledge of WHS, construction codes and regulatory requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with project management systems (MS Project, Aconex, Excel or similar)
* White Card and valid driver's licence
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience in modular or off‑site construction
* PMP, CPPM or similar certification
* Familiarity with Jonas Premier or comparable systems
