Job Title:
Equipment Specialist
This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop and inventory management at our facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing preventative maintenance, calibration, diagnostic fault finding, preparing hire jobs, quality assurance, internal sales, and communication with customers.
The position involves regular maintenance of hire fleet and service equipment, maintaining accurate records of equipment repairs, inventory levels, and stock movements, and monitoring and controlling inventory levels.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, mechanical background, excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team, competent computer proficiency, familiarity with safety protocols and procedures, and technical certification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs, inventory levels, and stock movements.
* Monitor and control inventory levels.
* Assist in organising and maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment.
* Provide support to other team members as required.
* Prepare tooling for hires and customer orders.
